-The fireworks (some in the cul-de-sac and some seen at a park accompanied by our screaming baby while I tried to console him, Zach slept on the blanket, Nate got eaten by mosquitoes, and Emma said over and over “wake me up when they start” the whole time)

-The hot dogs (dinner is always better on the bbq and when someone else cooks it!)

-The homemade ice cream (our most successful yet)

-The patriotism – I love to sing songs about our country with my kiddos for their bedtime songs, and remind myself how blessed we are to live here.
