Okay, so it's not MY quilt. It's actually a quilt our relief society has done for church humanitarian aid… but I have invested so much in it, it feels like my quilt. And I wish it were my quilt… I think it's so cute. Before you get impressed, I did NOT
1. pick the fabric (donated)
2. piece the squares (although I held Carter and WATCHED a lot of talented ladies piece the squares)
I did however (with a lot of help!) cut the squares, fix the length by adding some strips, help tie it, and bind it (not because I was qualified but because I couldn't find anyone else to…) and have anguished much over it's final result.
I write this post because I may never quilt again. That said, it IS fun to see the finished project. I hope whoever gets it loves it – and I hope they don't look too close.
