 Emma's start to preschool was rocky.  She cried every time I dropped her off for several weeks, and I would watch from the windows feeling so bad… until one day a sweet girl and her mom walked onto the playground at the same time, and as I handed my sad Emma off to her teacher, this sweet mom stayed on the playground for a few minutes, got her daughter and Emma to go down the slide together a few times, and everything changed.  Emma and Samantha became inseparable at preschool, and the cutest of friends.  Right after I took this picture and gave her a hug to leave on the last day, Emma burst into tears… not sad to be at school, but sad that school was ending, thanks to Sam.
