Had the advice from a seasoned mother in our ward that a quick way to make sure your kid only misses the bus once is to have them walk to school…

luckily on the day I threatened it, we were fairly ready, the weather was nice, and I was able to follow through.  Guess who was early for the bus for the rest of the year?
