We discovered a fun little hiking area up behind one of our favorite parks this fall, and had a few good adventures there enjoying the beautiful leaves and the lizards! The first trip was just with Carter and Meg the day after he broke his arm and wasn't sure he was up to going to school.
It was so fun we had to take the big kids back the next week…
Meg pointed out every sign that said "trail closed" and said, "That sign says – TRAIL CLOSED!" She was so proud of herself.
And of course we had to take the cousins when they came down the week after that. It really is a perfect place to spend a fall afternoon!
