Blurry pictures from my phone of the school parade… since it was either that or miss the parade going back home to get my camera.
Brian McCann from the Atlanta Braves LOVED the parade, and John Stockton (who had a hard time finding shorts short enough to look like John Stockton) and our professional soccer player seemed to enjoy themselves as well. It is always fun to have both grandmas sneak away from their busy lives to come watch the parade!
Then we took a friend's' kids home with us while she helped out at the K party – these girls are the cutest little friends and held hands the whole walk out of the school and across the huge field. Adorable, I tell you!!
After soup and scones at a neighborhood party, Nate dropped Zach off at a friends' house to hide and scare people while I took the other 3 trick or treating. They wore me out! Meg got tired at the end but never let go of her bucket. And Carter took a good fall, making me grateful for our good doctor who suggested leaving his cast on 2 extra days and getting it off the morning after Halloween. :)
We have the cutest neighbor who dresses up as a very realistic witch every year… here they are trying to get brave enough to knock on the door. :)
We picked up Zach on the way home, and he started to wish he had come with us since at this point he had no candy! Emma and Carter went home to eat candy with Nate (who had been manning the house with more trick or treaters than we've ever had!) while Meg and I went with Zach to a few houses so the night wasn't a total loss. :)
And here's the crew. Can you tell that the can of soda was the hit of the evening! I sure love these little goblins!
