Part of Carter's homework assignment was to write the word "tree" by a picture of the tree… and as I sat listening to him sound it out he kept saying "ch… ch… what makes the "ch" sound?"  I was so confused, and told him tree started with the letter T.   He looked at me like I was crazy.  "No, mom… CHree!  CHree!"  Neither of us could stop laughing because the way the other person was saying/spelling it seemed so crazy to both of us… which made it even funnier.  Apparently truck is chruck as well.  Perhaps I need to enunciate?  :)
