  • What's more American than baseball, hamburgers, cupcakes, and fireworks in the cul-de-sac? This year, I taught the kids "You're a grand old flag" and they sing it all the time.  :)  I am so grateful to live in this great land, and especially for those who serve in our military to keep us free.

  • We ran out of freezer jam the week before we left on vacation… luckily by the time we got back, the strawberries were ripe at our favorite berry farm.   and the jam was delicious… Carter may or may not be licking some off of his toes…

  • Not sure how it is at your house, but at our house, 3 kids playing a board game together is like a ticking time bomb.  It's fun, fun, fun… and then  KABOOM.  This one went off less than a minute after the picture… I got there just in time.

  • She was, on Sunday, June 12 2011.  And we have been since the day she arrived.  We all adore our little Meg.   Her blessing day was extra special, and we loved having all our family there to share it with us.

  • Nate was able to fanagle an extra day of vacation at the last minute… we sure enjoyed arriving a day earlier than planned!
