The kids were thrilled this week to have rain instead of snow… they put on their rain boots, stomped in the puddles, and got out Zach’s “mousetrap” that Nate made with him last fall… they had no bait and they are a little close to the trap but by this point they were already pretty wet and cold so I think they weren’t venturing far out of the shelter of the garage to set it up. It all looks very official, doesn’t it… Emma is watching for signs of any rodent crazy enough to be out in the pouring rain and Zach is ready to pull the string at her word. It was the highlight of the day for both of them! (Good thing we got out early to enjoy the rain because by mid-morning it had turned to snow!)
