Zach has outgrown our backyard for baseball – he consistently has been hitting balls off his tee over the fence. And of course, out of 3 yards he can hit into, it’s consistently the fenced one with the dogs that no one is ever home at. So today with no dogs in sight Nate hopped the fence to grab a ball… only to look up and see the big dog staring him down (and then chasing him barking like crazy). You should have seen him scramble up and over the fence… you’d never believe he was 30! It was enough that he said later, “That’s the last time I pickle the beast!” (and if you’ve never seen Sandlot, you should.)

Would have loved to see that! Sounds like a fun time — glad Nate survived and hope Zach learns to aim for the friendlier yards!
