We had a little friend of Zach's spend the weekend with us when his parents were out of town, so on Saturday Nate took Emma to run some errands, look at toys, and go to lunch. She came home positively beaming – partly from her soda (that I couldn't get her to stop sipping, even for the picture) but mostly from all the fun and attention from Dad.

I’ve started taking one boy on a walk around the block each night, trying to get things moving along, it has been amazing to see how happy they are to have just a little time alone with me. Love that she wouldn’t put down the soda, a girl after my own heart.
