Discovered at a friends' pool Thursday afternoon and hidden in my bag by a curious little treasure keeper until it was discovered by me today… a dead bird skull, complete with feathers and all. I am trying not to throw up as I write this – way too grossed out on the way to the garbage to take a picture.

That is hilarious. I’m sure it was disgusting at the time, though! I love your 4th of July photos, especially the one with the kids running…so cute. Sounds like you guys had tons of fun on your family vacation!

Oh you’ve had such a great summer. So glad you were able to go up to Deluth and the fourth looked fantastic. I think it’s my favortive holiday lately. Thank you so very much for your card. It was an unexpected treat and came on a very rough day. I cried as I read it, but it made me smile and gave me hope that I will survive this adventure. Give the kiddos a hug for me!!!
