We've had such bright, sunny days this week that we've been watching for the bus from the front porch with our sidewalk chalk…

Emma doesn't want to stop at spring, however.  She said to me on Tuesday, "Mom, it's really sunny outside, can we get out the blow-up pool?"  I had a hard time convincing her that although the sun was warm, the water would NOT be – in fact, on Tuesday, it still would have frozen.   She just thought I was the meanest mom ever for not letting her do it.
