Yes, ready or not, school is in session, and here are a few things that prove it: 

Back to school fondue night on Sunday .  (Carter was so excited to have his own fondue fork, and didn't dip a single thing.  :)

Headed out to walk to school – the kids are loving it, I am missing the bus a little… although it is better now that we've figured out the shorter way to get there . 

And, missing the McKellar's first day of school root beer floats for the neighborhood kids on their way home, we decided to share some at our house.  No pictures of the madness… but it was fun!  

The kids are liking their classes and teachers and the fact that lunch recess can be as long as your lunch is short (more soccer and 4-square)… I remember those days of scarfing down something and running outside!  We are looking forward to a great year!
